What we collect
If you use IntelliSkill™ without signing in, your resume and job description are processed only to produce the result shown to you; the file and extracted text are not saved to your GROW™ account or talent pool. If you create an account, we collect your email, name, profile details, resume files, extracted resume text, professional activity, job applications, and matching results that you choose to create on the platform. Professional profiles collect only your city and state for location. We do not request or display a street address or ZIP code on your professional profile.
Billing information
A full billing address is required only when you purchase a paid plan. It is collected through our payment processor for payment, fraud prevention, tax, and billing purposes. A billing address is not displayed on your GROWâ„¢ profile and is not placed in the Employer Resume Engine.
How we use it
Your resume is used to compute an explainable skills-match score against the job description you provide, powered by Cenna™ AI. Resumes saved by signed-in professionals begin with an NSR (Non-SkillVantage Ready) tag until reviewed through an authorized SkillVantage process. Your personalIntelliSkill™ results are shown to you and are not sent to employers. We use profile and resume information to provide professional networking, opportunity discovery, candidate search, and recruiting services. We do not use your resume or profile to train third-party AI models.
Employer discoverability and paid access
Creating a profile does not by itself send your profile to the Employer Resume Engine. When you upload a resume to your signed-in GROW™ account, the upload initiates placement of that resume and its NSR or SR designation in the Employer Resume Engine, where verified employers and recruiters with a paid GROW™ plan may search and view it. Your personal IntelliSkill™ results are not included. Employers may use their own IntelliSkill™ tools to compare accessible resumes with their job descriptions and generate separate employer-side matching results. SkillVantage receives payment for providing employers access to candidate-search services. Under some privacy laws, this paid access may be considered a sale or commercial disclosure of personal data even though ownership of your resume is not transferred.
Employer access is limited to recruiting, candidate evaluation, and legitimate employment-related purposes. Employers may not scrape, resell, publicly distribute, or use candidate information for an unrelated purpose.
Your choices
- You can update your profile and remove saved resumes through your account or by contacting us.
- Before uploading a resume, you will be told that the upload places the resume in the Employer Resume Engine. You can withdraw the resume from future employer searches at any time.
- You can request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us below.
- You can opt out of a sale or commercial disclosure of your personal information where applicable law gives you that right. We will also honor legally required browser-based opt-out preference signals.
- SR (SkillVantage-Ready) status is only ever granted through a SkillVantage coaching, interview, or referral-review process - never automatically, and never without your prior participation in that process.
My Dreams privacy
Information you create in My Dreams is private by default. It is not placed in the Employer Resume Engine and is not included with an uploaded resume. You may choose to display My Dreams on your public professional profile. If you do, anyone who can view that profile, including a current or prospective employer, may see the dream information you publish. You can make My Dreams private again at any time.
Security
Resume files and extracted text are stored with access controls limiting who can view them. Access by SkillVantage reviewers and verified employer users is logged for accountability. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
